Privacy policy
Last updated: 29 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data we process on the vdatafactu.net website and in the vDataFactu mobile app, what we use it for, and how you can exercise your rights.
1. Who we are
The website and the app are owned by Joan Pallàs Ribes, tax ID 43725645T, with address at Vilamar, 2A, 43820 Calafell (Tarragona). You can write to us at info@vdata.net or call +34 977 692 116.
2. This website
- It uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising, and it has no forms.
- If you write to us or call us to ask for a demo, we use your name, your company and the contact details you give us to answer you and prepare it. We do so because you asked us to (pre-contractual steps) and because of our legitimate interest in handling the request. We keep them while the commercial conversation lasts and, after that, for as long as the law requires. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
- The website's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts: your browser requests them from Google's servers, which receive your IP address. Google states that this service sets no cookies.
- Like any web server, the one serving this site may keep technical logs of each request (IP address, date and page requested) for security reasons.
3. The vDataFactu mobile app
The vDataFactu app is the mobile tool of the business management system used by our client companies. Only the employees and collaborators their company registers can sign in: there is no public sign-up.
Who is responsible for your data
The company that gave you your account is the data controller for the data you record in it: it decides what the data is used for and how long it is kept. We act as the data processor: we provide the service and host your company's installation, and we only process the data on its behalf and following its instructions.
What data the app processes
- Your account details: name, email address, language and the role your company has assigned to you.
- Your working-time record: clock-in and clock-out times and any notes you add.
- Your location, only at the moment you clock in or out of your workday or a work order, to record where it was done. The app does not track you or record your location in the background.
- The photos, documents and voice notes you add: work orders, equipment, cash tickets, vehicle odometer readings, supplier invoices and documents.
- Messages in the internal chat with your company.
- A device identifier to send you notifications, if you accept them.
The app contains no advertising, uses no analytics or tracking tools, and does not sell or share your data with anyone.
Phone permissions
The app only asks for the permissions it needs, and only when it needs them: location (to clock in), camera and photos (to add pictures), microphone (to record voice notes) and notifications. You can deny or withdraw them at any time in your phone's settings; the feature that depends on them will then be unavailable.
Where it is stored
The data is stored in your company's own installation, on servers located in the European Union, and backups are also made in the European Union. On the phone, your session is kept in the system's secure storage.
Who it is shared with
- Apple (Apple Push Notification service) and Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging), only to deliver notifications: they receive the device identifier and the text of the notification.
- Hosting and backup providers, acting as sub-processors under contract, within the European Union.
- If your company turns on additional services (for example, automatic reading of invoices with artificial intelligence, certified email or electronic signature), it does so under its own contracts, and it is your company that must inform you.
How long it is kept
Your company decides. Spanish law requires it to keep the working-time record for four years (article 34.9 of the Workers' Statute).
Deleting your account
Accounts are created and closed by your company. If you want your account and your data deleted, ask your company, or write to us at info@vdata.net and we will pass it on.
4. Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, have it corrected or deleted, object to its processing, and ask for its restriction or portability. For data in the app, contact your company, which is the controller; if you write to us, we will pass it on. For data on the website, write to us at info@vdata.net. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
5. Children
The website and the app are aimed at companies and their staff, not at children under 16.
6. Changes
If we change this policy, we will say so on this page, with the date of the last update.
